Over the course of my professional career, I have worked with a variety of photography formats and equipment. In the beginning I focused on being an independent filmmaker and had accomplished several short films. I started out working with 16mm film and later in my career moved into digital video and photography heavily focusing on the topic of killer whales.
My work picked up momentum and acquired a following through my website Orcagirl which launched in 2000. There is much history involved to arriving at this body of work and you will find that it is all connected. My previous film work is directly tied to my later digital work.
